Karmann Ghia Project

The crown jewel of the classic VWs is the Karmann Ghia.
Marketed from 1955 to 1974, it combined the chassis and mechanicals of the Beetle, styling by Luigi Segre of the Italian carrozzeria Ghia, and hand-built bodywork by German coach-builder Karmann.
Doubling production soon after its introduction, it become the most-imported car into the U.S.
Over 445,000 Karmann Ghias were produced in Germany over the car's production life.
37 years after the end of production, the Karmann Ghia still has a loyal following.

We found this 1974 Karmann Ghia Coupe in Brookings, Oregon, originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, the car is rust free and in excellent shape.  EV4U will convert it to electric power and restore it to show quality.  You can follow the project on our website.  When completed, the Ghia will be offered for sale.
